FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS


The festival of the carnival: it is characterized by the burial of Bacchus.

Czech State Day: A party that is celebrated every September 28.

Prague Spring: Classical music festival, second half of May in Prague.

Independent Czech State Day: October 28.

The Concertino of Prague: During the month of June it is dedicated to the novice musicians.

The International Jazz Festival: It is celebrated in the month of October.


Karlovy Vary International Film Festival: This luxurious thermal resort organizes this international film festival in even-numbered years.


Religious Beliefs and Spirituality in Czech Republic

Despite the diverse cultural differences in the country, Czech Republic has established its traditional religion which is Roman Catholicism. However, other Czechs refuse to enter a religion, thus, claiming themselves to be atheists. Along with Estonia, the Czech Republic has been known to have the least religion factors in the world. 2017 census says that around 39,8 % population of the country includes agnostic, atheist, or non-believer. Roman Catholics were about 39,2% of the population; and Protestants were around 4.6%,  Orthodox 3%, Other 13,4% of the total population of the Czech Republic.

The Hofstede Model in Czech Republic Acording to  Czech Culture at 57 Czech scores relatively medium on the scale of Power Distance , so It's a society that believes tha the inequalities amongs people are simply  a fact of life. The Skinhead Subculture in the Czech Republic The skinhead scene in the CzechRepublic is characterised by disunity, caused by political orientation and the engagements of its various supporters, who identify either with:(a) the extreme right (National Socialism), (b) the traditional current(patriotism and the classic themes of the original skinhead subculture),or (c) the extreme left (Trotskyism, communism, and anarchist or ‘au-tonomist’ currents).
